REME Museum of Technology ~ ‘Soldier’s Workshop’ - Make It ‘n’ Take It Club

Discover what it’s like to be a soldier at the REME Museum of Technology’s ‘Soldier’s Workshop’ on Sunday 15 May at 10.30 am - 12.30 pm or 1 - 3 pm.

Try on a real soldier’s uniform, create crazy camouflage, camouflage a real soldier’s helmet and your face, design a new soldiers hat for REME, move silently behind enemy lines using the ‘Ghost Walk’ and ‘Leopard Crawl’, design a ‘Ration Pack’ for a soldier, explore real Army rations then join in a quiz to find rations hidden in the Museum.

The ‘Soldier’s Workshop’ is the second MINTI Club Sunday Workshop this year. Every child attending a MINTI Club workshop gets a MINTI Club Reward Card. We’ll stamp your Reward Card at each workshop: collect 3 stamps for a MINTI Club certificate, collect 6 stamps and you’ve won a reward!

Places are limited and booking is essential. Admission to Workshop: child £6, adults free (all children must be accompanied by an adult, younger children will need parental assistance with the activities). Activities suitable for 5 – 12 year olds.

For more details about the workshop and to book a place please call the Education Officer on 0118 976 3375. To find out about other forthcoming MINTI Club workshops check out our web site at www.rememuseum.org.uk .
